Ingredient Breakdown
100 mg turmeric curcumin extract and hypromellose (vegetable capsule), microcrystalline cellulose (plant fiber), croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, silica.
The Good
This has an excellent amount of the right ingredients, as well as a unique Turmeric blend, Theracurmin.
The Bad
This supplement doesn’t contain bioperine, a necessary ingredient. Bioperine (black pepper extract) increases the bioavailability of turmeric curcumin. If you do end up picking up this supplement, be sure to grab a bottle of black pepper extract as well.
One of our readers recently pointed out that theracurmin is designed to be absorbed more readily than typical curcumin. While this is absolutely true, our research so far has shown that it doesn’t do quite as well as simply combining the curcumin with bioperine.
We suggest combining it with a bioperine supplement just to be on the safe side.
